Viridian Law Secures Trial Victory Through Vigorous Defense of Property Owner
Firm defeats trespass claims and secures title to disputed land following a three-day trial
Viridian Law successfully defended a property owner in a contested boundary dispute following a three-day trial in Penobscot County Superior Court. Facing claims that a storage building encroached on neighboring land, our team mounted a vigorous defense and pursued counterclaims to protect our client's ownership and continued use of the property.
Through competing survey evidence, historical records, and witness testimony, our attorneys Kady Huff and Chris Uphouse challenged the plaintiff's claims and established our client's longstanding use of the disputed area. The Court entered judgment in our client's favor on the plaintiff's claims and awarded our client title to the disputed land through adverse possession—a challenging claim requiring proof of decades of qualifying use.
The result reflects Viridian Law's commitment to thorough preparation, effective courtroom advocacy, and determined protection of our clients' interests.
